(4.2 stars; 6 reviews)

A Date With Judy was a summer replacement for the Bob Hope Show, airing on NBC from June 24 to September 16, 1943. This soap opera was primarily broadcast to attract a larger teenage audience to the radio. The series featured Ann Gillis in the lead role, with Dellie Ellis portraying Judy when the show returned the following summer.

Over the years, the series saw various sponsors, including Bristol Myers, which replaced The Eddie Cantor Show for the summer. Louise Erickson continued in the role of Judy for seven years, with the series airing from January 18, 1944, to January 4, 1949. The final season was sponsored by Ford Motors and Revere Cameras, airing on ABC from October 13, 1949, to May 25, 1950.

Once I got the acoustics adjusted, it was not a bad show, but pretty predictable. We'll listen to another episode.
