A great story. A good recording. The voice was easily understood.
This was a wonderful, uplifting story.

Excellent book

The book is amazing. I appreciate the effort the reader put in - she emanates a love for the story and characters - but a slight lisp, a bit of a whine, and rushed reading put a damper on the experience. I would recommend slowing down the playback speed to enjoy it more fully. I did prefer this reading to the other option on Librivox, which has an assortment of readers.

This book from my youth was referenced in a novel. As I listened I wondered if I got the connection to nature. I think it may have been seeds planted. I listened from a different place. I thoroughly enjoyed.
I love this book!

I read it several years ago and just remembered it recently. The reader is excellent at showing emotion and feeling in her voice. This is one of my favorite classics!

A wonderful book, the second book about the Limberlost that I’ve listened to following the first book “ Freckles”. A great storyline along with a beautiful glimpse of nature.
Worth hearing!

Excellent reader! Refreshing to hear a story about a young woman who was kind, long suffering yet able to forgive, intelligent and cautiously wise with her heart.

I love this book, and the reader did an excellent job.
