Darling Alicia tells the story of Steve, who hasn't so much as held hands with the beautiful, sparky Alicia when he starts writing to her. Over the course of a two-year correspondence ranging from Delhi and Buenos Aires to London, he comes to realize that she has become his Darling Alicia.
This captivating play is based on 160 unpublished letters from the 1960s, featuring the real voices of Alicia and Steve Merrett. The production is brought to life by producers Vernee Samuel and David Hunter, with performances by Celia Melras as Alicia and Carl Prekopp as Steve.
