Edith Wharton
Read by Elizabeth Klett
Edith Wharton's 1911 novel Ethan Frome tells the story of a tragic love triangle. This is a great book and a great reading of it. I heard in an interview Elizabeth Klett said it was one of her favorites she'd done and I see why. I highly recommend this one!
Unusual Tale

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a story quite like this one before. It is truly unique. Basically just a slice of life and how an unusual occurrence affects the lives of a small number of people. Elizabeth does a great job as always with the narration. I recommend giving it a listen.
Fantastic recording

I've just completed chapter one, and I already feel that Elizabeth Klett's wonderful recording is one of the best I've listened to yet! Such a pleasure to listen to, she has really captured the magic and mystery of the story. I can't wait to hear the rest. Thanks Elizabeth!

short story but wonderful and worth a read! i think i have seen a movie from this book, but i did not recall it much while reading. a lesson in marrying "just because" and the misery it can cause.
Heartbreaking story.
Sharon Hamel
As always, Elizabeth Klett does a wonderful job reading this sad story of a marriage of convenience, manipulation and unrequited love. Also there is a film of this story starring Liam Neeson and Patricia Arquette that is very well done.
Seek the light
A tightly woven tale of heart wrenching irony and psychological entrapment- One might wonder why Wharton wrote it if not exposed to her other works. But it is literary pleasure to listen to the well read tale despite its depressing nature.
A brilliant story brilliantly read
Mei Douthitt
This is one of my favourite classics, a fantastic story. I've lived this story from the day I read it - and Klett does not disappoint. It is a joy to hear her read. Thank you!
Depressing story

A love triangle story (sort of). This story is so stark and depressing in so many aspects. Elizabeth Klett does a lovely job with the story. I think she well conveyed the depressing dreariness of this sad sad story.
