Crime Classics
Your Loving Son Nero
by
Crime Classics presents dramatized accounts of notorious crimes and the people caught up in them. Hosted by Thomas Hyland, the series frames each story as a historical case, drawing listeners into the circumstances, motives, and consequences behind the crime.
The program blends narration with acted scenes, creating a documentary-like radio experience rather than a conventional mystery in which listeners follow a fictional detective. Its stories range across different periods and places, with the host guiding the audience through the evidence and the human details surrounding each case.
With its measured narration, period atmosphere, and focus on real criminal history, Crime Classics offers a thoughtful, sometimes unsettling listen. “Your Loving Son Nero” is the episode title associated with this recording.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
