Receiving a letter from an old colleague, mining engineer James Starr sets off for the old Aberfoyle mine, thought to have been mined out ten years earlier. NICE CHANGE OF PACE

(4 stars)

Though not as lengthy as most of his books, it was still a good yarn. As usual, Verne gives us some useful and interesting technical info. A very good reading.

classic Verne story.

I actually think all of the readers did a great job! No one with an annoying fake accent or the inability of annunciation

Great book and good readers.

A few readers were tedious but most were very good.

Great Book!

not what I expected

Kind of boring story. Not what I'd consider SciFi. I listened to the whole thing, hoping for a change to an interesting tale. I was disappointed... One would do better to search out a more known SciFi classic by the master Verne.
