Short Science Fiction Collection 035

Science Fiction is speculative literature that generally explores the consequences of ideas which are roughly consistent with nature and scientific method, but are not facts of the author’s contemporary world. The stories often represent philosophical thought experiments presented in entertaining ways. Protagonists typically “think” rather than “shoot” their way out of problems, but the definition is flexible because there are no limits on an author’s imagination. The reader-selected stories presented here were written prior to 1962 and became US public domain texts when their copyrights expired. (Summary by Gregg Margarite) (5 hr 36 min)

"Oh Johnnie"
Margarite is probably the only narrator is just don't want to listen to... he is so fake it comes through in his reading, and I am only interested in authenticity and he is just not authentic and the added drama he produces is worst then nails on a black broad to my listening system. is a shame because he has poorly read some good novels... Capt. James T. Kirk narration's... Thanks Libirvox ✌🏼

“where there is hope” has to be one of the most bizarre tales in this collection. Good fun listening

I love these old SF short stories to go to sleep with. Easier to pick up where you left off than a novel.
Outstanding . ...will be missed is an "understatement ."
