Reviews
Good reading!

Love the deep dives into the little side characters. Tolstoy really knows how to write people and this section shows that off well.
Please stop killing the French

It obviously takes a sheer effort to act as a reader of such long masterpieces for the benefit of all of us listening. But could the readers perchance take a lesson or two in non-English diction in order not to massacre the lines in French? Has the example of how the Russian ruling classes were educated in those times not come to mind? It doesn’t just make one cringe, but it also kills the meaning
A LibriVox Listener
This is the one book I’ve enjoyed the most, the reader’s voice is so sweet and his pace so slow that my English learning has certainly improved while listening. I feel grateful.
not a great reader
