The Green Overcoat

Gelesen von Russ Hobbs

(4,53 Sterne; 33 Bewertungen)

This rollicking novel captures the minor moral dilemma of thin, shy, nervous, Professor Higginson, psychologist, as he comes under the eye of the enemy of his soul through an encounter with a green overcoat. The quixotic adventure that follows will bring the childlike reader laughter like rainfall. This is Belloc at his Chestertonian best! - Summary by Russ Hobbs (6 hr 44 min)

If, as I did , you thought Hillaire Belloc only wrote amusing poetry, this book will pleasantly surprise you and is a " must listen". It is extremely amusing , interesting and clever. What seems a simple plot develops into an intriguing " who done it ? " in reverse . The narrator reads superbly. Please give us more Mr Hobbs,

This is so funny, I laughed out loud. Well written and well read.
