Not only do I recall 1969, in many ways I am still there, which may be a good thing when one considers what is going on with this election of 2016 in the US. Somehow, in those past days I had the sense that "Bridge Over Trouble Water" was, in fact, quite spiritual, especially with the gospel chords and the gospel message inherent in the song. The sermon reminds me that as mush as I might feel and live in the presence the Palpable Grace of God, I have no right to judge those not only whom I consider outside this Grace, but no right to judge anyone at all.
