Great Old Tales

(5 Sterne)

This LibriVox volunteer's voice is hypnotic! These tales are not appropriate for young audience members, if you've a Horse crazy child, as there are graphic details of life on the trail.

Not the voice for this title...

(0,5 Sterne)

The book is excellent, but this lady's voice is misplaced in this genre. I listened for about 1/2 a minute then had to turn it off. Listen to one of Richard Kilmer's renditions and then listen to this and you'll see what I mean. Nothing wrong with her voice, but it's not meant for westerns written from a man's perspective. In fact, given the appropriate topic/perspective, I would probably enjoy her voice very much.
