Splendid characterisations of two crafty old buffers by Deryck Guyler and George Benson. (-Roger Bickerton). A compensating error is an accounting error that offsets another accounting error. These errors can be difficult to spot when they occur within the same account and in the same reporting period, since the net effect is zero. A statistical analysis of an account may not find a compensating error.

Derych Guyler always brings a smile to my face, you can hear him on Archive.org in Men From The Ministry. So so funny. Back to this drama, the old buffers are about to retire on a pittance of a pension and feeling unappreciated they have a master plan. So enjoyable, just writing this review has brought a smile to my face.
