This is one of the best books ever written in human history. The end. I don’t have enough words to express how good it is. Full of trial, mystery, love, hate, truth, beauty, everything you can imagine in a perfect book. So so so worth the time of listening to it. A big big thanks to David Clarke who did an absolutely fantastic job reading this and giving great voice differentiation and emphasis. He did such a wonderful job. Can’t imagine what i would do without this book. Thank you. Like really do listen to it. All the way the end is so good too. SO GOOD AHHHHHHH JUST GO LISTEN TO IT!!!!
Dumas & Clarke: a brilliant performance

I wish I could convey to the narrator, David Clarke, how deeply I appreciate the great gift of this performance and the many many hours of enthralled absorption it has given me. Clarke's extraordinary rendering of this incredible novel does great justice to the author's genius. Love love love all the accents!!! Who could predict that one would wish a story this long to be even longer? I never wanted it to end! Such a fortifying escape from the tedium of contemporary news and politics. Thank you, Dumas, Clarke, and Librivox!
Wonderful Narrator

This was a great book to listen to during my daily commute. Thanks so much to the reader who did a wonderful, professional job, complete with a ton of different accents. The story itself has a great beginning, and if you can stick it out through 20 or so tedious chapters in the middle, it does pick up and get much more exciting again (like it was in the beginning) about 2/3 of the way through.
Amazing

I put off reading this for so long bc of the length but a friend whose opinions often match mine told me it was worth and oh boy this was so good. And the reader does a fantastic job he does multiple accents as well as speaks French and Italian in some places. This guy is probably one of the best readers I've come across on librivox I wish he had recorded more
