My Son Jeep 09 Eps
"My Son Jeep" was an OTR juvenile sitcom that aired on NBC radio from January 25, 1953, to June 14, 1953. Although very short-lived on both NBC Radio and Television, it was given a re-birth on October 3, 1955, when it returned as a weeknight 15-minute show on CBS Radio, lasting only one more year with the last episode airing on November 9, 1956.
The show featured Jeffrey (JEEP) Allison, a typical, overly-rambunctious 10-year-old boy known for the mischief he could get into. Jeep was the youngest of two children, with his older sister Peggy being 13 years old. Their father, Robert Allison, was a widower and small-town doctor, portrayed by Donald Cook and Paul McGrath on radio and Jeffrey Lynn on TV.
