Still Super after all these years

I owned the first 16 episodes of this series on vinyl, in the '70s. I wore those records to death. What a delight to find the shows, and so many more, all for free. The sound is incredible, considering these all came from 1940. Recording tape was still years away, at least in America. A word about the actors: Jorell, (Superman's father from Krypton," and "The Wolf," the first villain Superman has to outwit, are both played by Ned Weaver, who would later play detective Bulldog Drummond on Mutual. Lara, Superman's mother in episode 1 only, is played by the amazing Agnes Morehead. lastly, in a couple of episodes, sea captain Vince Anderson, a good guy Superman has to rescue, is played by Frank Lovejoy, who later would star in NBC's "Night Beat," as a mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper. If anybody knows who any of the other actors were in this series, either publish a review or contact me, if my email is public.

The dates are in the file name, Look for the 6 digit # at the start of the filename. The first 2 #'s are the year the next 2 are the month and the last 2 are the day of the month, The 4 digit # after the date is the episode # ie, 400212_0001_The_Baby_From_Krypton.mp3 is episode 0001 and the date was 02/12/1940, Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for uploading these radio shows! I've read a lot about this material and wanted to seat back and enjoy it like in the old days. Specially a show about my favorite hero Superman! Keep it up!
