What if by simply Writing a Word you could build a wall, light a fire, or cloud someone’s mind? In an environment like this Alan Porter struggles to use his talents to overthrow a totalitarian government that controls the masses by controlling Words. Access to Writing materials is restricted, and creating Verse without a license is severely punished. Raised in this atmosphere of systematic censorship, Alan heeds the irresistible call of Words to create a better world.

Now Alan gathers people who will fight with him to bring about a society based on freedom. In a war where the weapons are stylus, paper, and Words, he is the only one who can lead the battle and show the way to victory, a fight that Alan Porter wages even long after his death, because he is the Guerrilla Poet.

Already listened to the first two episodes and already I'm liking it. A very interesting take on some very deep and mind blowing concepts behind it (the nature of reality, how perception of it can be altered, the line between perception and physical reality and how word can influence us ...

I'm a half-dozen episodes in. Started to grow on me after 3 or so. Can't say I'm a fan of the poetry. The philosophy is kind of interesting but not as engaging as one might hope. The characters and story line are what are growing on me. Maybe the other ...

It was a fun ride and a neat story, but the poetry did seem distracting sometimes and there were lots of things going on in the story that could have probably been cut down on to allow time to focus on the main plot. For instance, the General character (the ...

Sorry the concepts are more eye-rolling than mind-blowing. The characters sustained my interest for a while but couldn't quite maintain credibility for the story's over-reaching premise. Nice writing in places. Keep it up.
