Compared to the usual fare on Podiobooks this is a gem. A good part of this is atributable to the excellent narrator. Only a few hours into the book and he's done Germans, Greeks, Britons and Americans old and young, male and female and hasn't missed a beat. Who is ...


Very good book :) BUT.. Some of the story jumps are rough. I kept back tracking because I was sure I missed something. And the narrator mispronounces some of the words... minor issues from a perfectionist.

Fascinating but a bit hard to follow. Take care to listen carefully especially in the beginning of a chapter.


Overall, well worth listening to. The chapters are short, but without the standard lead-in the next chapter picks right back up seemlessly.


There are no mispronunciations in this reading, simply British pronunciations. You say tom A toe, I say tom aaah toe.
