A wonderful tale, with many a twist and turn. Dated but still a ripping , enjoyable, yarn. The reader, Anna Simon, brings the story to life delightfully, and imbues each character with an individual, believable, voice and dimension. Her pacing and pitch is perfect!

Stunning Mystery

This is a cerebral mystery, combined with a touch of mysticism & the typical blackmail, thievery & murder. Oh, and a bit of the melodramatic, seemingly unrequited love. It's Great! The LibriVox volunteer is excellent, as always.
