When either Bertie Wooster or his friends found themselves in the soup or in dangerous proximity to the tureen, the instinct of one and all was to turn to Jeeves - Bertie's Man. He understood human nature, especially that of gilded youth.

It did not matter if the hope of an ancient house had fallen in love with a waitress, or if Bertie's cousins Claude and Eustace had been playing dido; Jeeves never failed. His was a sound brain.

The only thing in which Jeeves failed, that is in his master's eyes, was that he could not always go the whole way with him in the matter of spats, socks and ties, particularly in the Spring - Jeeves was a purist.

I Love Jeeves and Bertie!

The author is hilarious even while some of the readers were difficult to understand, the writing was still too good! I was laughing through most of these stories. Aaron White (last 4 chapters) did an exceptional job. Would like him to read the Jeeves and Bertie books exclusively.

I honestly LOVE this series and the author is always right on it lol Wodehouse cracks me up every time. the characters are so well written that you become fully immersed in the story before the first chapter is through.

Of course there's nothing like Wodehouse for a good laugh, however I did wish that there was a little more regularity in the volume from chapter to chapter, somewhere extremely loud, while some I couldn't get high enough volume to listen to clearly unless I sat quietly on the couch with my phone to my ear. Also, it would really be lovely if the readers had recently correct pronunciation. listening to this book at time with a bit of an interpretive feat. Otherwise, I did enjoy this book, especially the reader Aaron White.

Pleasing to Painful Although I applaud the volunteer efforts of some of the readers I cannot equally endorse their skills. Wodehouse deserve a certain voice, timbre & British pronunciation. Several readers fall very far short. Please dear friends do not attempt a Motzart exude if the best you can muster is Turkey in the Straw!

some of the readers were so painful and horrible to listen to. the last 4 chapters were done well. listen to this if you are a great Wodehouse fan ,but some readers are really bad !!!

Bertie gets into hilarious scrapes, chapter after chapter (usually in order extricate his old pal Bingo from difficulties in his numerous love affairs), and Jeeves, the perfect valet, always comes through with the necessary solution.
