Another great reading by my favorite LibriVox voice.

Loving it from Borneo

I just love these old school space opera stories and this one is replete with hero...nasty aliens and a heroine. Hard to believe this was written in 1931. I enjoyed it.

As always, good reading my Mark Nelson, but the story itself was rather dated. It was surprising to see genocide so happily described!

Haha, old-school for sure

Very good… dated, but in a good way. Apparently Jupiter is habitable, and, y’know, not a gas giant with gravity that would crush you in an instant if you could even stand on the gaseous surface… A little like some early Star Trek episodes, good plot, bad science, and plenty of unnecessary drama! 4.5 stars due to the reading and the old-school feeling!

Well read

that sure was some sci fi. five stars for the quality of reading. Worth a listen if you are interested the history of sci fi

pathetic American dross, lacking in imagination or logic. So many plot holes and inconsistencies I doubt it qualifies as entertainment.

classic sci-fi pulp. nothing too thoughtful or thought provoking but highly entertaining
