A professor with an obsession to kill insects believes they want to kill him. He is living in the swamps with his wife, trying to perfect a formula that will kill the insects instantly. A stranger arrives, claiming to be a handyman looking for work, and is hired. However, he later develops his own plans for the professor's formula and his wife.
