Nalanda Merit Tour with Ven. Losang Gyaltsen and Ven. Losang Tendar Monday, October 14, 2019 7:00pm: Teaching by Ven. Tendar: How to Lead a Meaningful Life 8:00pm: Presentation by Ven. Gyaltsen and Ven. Tendar Ven. Gyaltsen and Ven. Tendar are Mahayana Buddhist monks from Nalanda Monastery in France. During their Merit Tour in the USA, they are sharing presentations about Nalanda Monastery, monasticism, what it means to be a monk, living in the vows, and tips on leading a meaningful life. Ven. Losang Gyaltsen is the director of Nalanda Monastery in France. Ven. Losang Tendar is a board member of Nalanda Monastery and director of the International Mahayana Institute (a world wide organization with about 320 monks and nuns as members). Together they are visiting our center during Nalanda's North-America Merit Tour , raising funds to purchase " Maitreya Pure Land ", a new retreat center for monastic and lay practitioners.
