Eddie Cantor Eddie Cantor Show ( Pabst) 481001 ( 079) Guest William Powell
Eddie Cantor
The Eddie Cantor Pabst Blue Ribbon Show was a musical and variety radio program, hosted by Eddie Cantor, that was broadcast from 1946 to 1948. Cantor was a radio original who initially made his fame in vaudeville.
A musician, singer, actor, writer, and comedian, Cantor came from the era where all of the stars had to be able to do it all. His well-trained voice was perfect for radio, and it greatly helped that he had no fear of live performance because of his extensive stage experience, including the Ziegfeld Follies and Broadway.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
