Reviews

Listenable but flawed

(3 stars)

I enjoyed it and I’m sure many others will. I found the male protagonist to be a quite annoying character though. He really comes across as a proper prat. But there’s a fair supporting cast and an entertaining plot. There’s a fair few twists and turns towards the end. Like others I’m not sure I buy the ending 100% and the reader sounds like an AI to me, I had to slow her down in the app to about 0.8 and recommend anyone else to do so who finds her too quick

Ending is off

CONTAINS SPOILERS. Was a good story until the end, with good narration. But near the beginning of the story, there are several good reasons given why the death is not a suicide, including one that is practically proof. But when you get to the end, a suicide note suddenly turns up. It's like the author didn't know how to end it, so he stuck that in there .

ABRUPT ENDING

(5 stars)

An enjoyable book. but I would have voted for a different ending. Nevertheless, it was still worth reading. Celine Majore is an excellent narrator.

Good story!

Easy to listen to and follow. A bit of a surprise ending.

Interesting story with an unexpected twist at the end. Well read. Thank you.

(3.5 stars)

Not very interesting although the narrator is very good.

(1.5 stars)

Is the reader a robot? Too distracting.
