Monsieur Pamplemousse Investigates
Michael Bond
Monsieur Pamplemousse Investigates follows the culinary detective Pamplemousse, a retired policeman turned inspector for "Le Guide", a Michelin-like restaurant directory in Paris. Accompanied by his long-suffering wife Doucette and his clever bloodhound Pommes Frites, Pamplemousse navigates a series of intriguing mysteries.
This adaptation features three episodes: In "Black Tuesday", Pamplemousse investigates dirty tricks at Le Guide. "Grey Wednesday" presents a puzzling case involving a mysterious thumbprint on chocolate, while "The Final Print-Out" leads the detective and his trusty hound to Père Lachaise Cemetery for a thrilling conclusion.
Directed by John Tydeman, this Mentorn Radio production brings to life the eccentric and jovial Pamplemousse, who, with his finely-tuned companion, uncovers the truth behind a series of culinary capers.
