Critiques

Very engaging and well read

(4 stars)

I so enjoyed this book. Being of a by-gone era, Its characterizations and responses to circumstances are refreshing and noble. The reading is very well done. Very understandable. Great battles and personal combat with a story of unsurpassing love. I gave it a 4 only because it is not a deep genius-written book.

Adventures in Space

(5 stars)

I've liked Edgar Rice Burroughs science fiction in space more than his "land that time forgot", or the time machine. John Carter is a great heroic character, one of the best.

Beautifully read, professionally recorded

Liked the Narrator more than the book

(3.5 stars)

Narration was fantastic. Story a tad “problematic.” Overall however a fun read worth your time. Recommend if you’re not overly sensitive to the obvious racial undertones of the text.
