Wonderful stuff where the technology keeps ramping up and the battles keep getting more stupendous. A continuation of the first book, The Skylark of Space which was written 1915-1921, serialized in Amazing Stories during 1928, and published in book form 1946. Classic space opera. The non-PC elements are counterbalanced by the diversity of aliens included in the league of civilization.
