Prepare for tears

A LibriVox Listener
This book always makes me cry and the audio was no exception. I usually prefer books with a single narrator but on the whole the readers on this version are very good.
Excellent

Pink Blossom
A great book. It's basically just the story cut in half of little women. It's the story of the life of the girls when they were grown up. However it does have some tidbits here and there that weren't in the story little women. It was an enjoyment to listen too. The readers were all very good as well. I'm a big fan of the German girl! She was awesome! It was so cool to hear the professor's name spoken in the correct way.

Have always loved this book but it's even more effective read. Some of the readers have pronunciation issues, though, that keep me from the 5-star rating I'd give it otherwise. (Not talking about the German girl, she did very well, in spite of the accent, but the Americans that can't say English words)

Brophyboys
I love the beautiful idyllic text written by Louisa May Alcott. The reading was very good although I had difficulty understanding the German girl. it did not dispel the excellent writing and poignant notes of this wonderful book.
Lovely story

Avid listener
A lovely story, slightly spoiled by one or two narrators that I really couldn't understand and skipped chapters but on the whole well worth listening to.
good book

Catherine van Kampen
I liked this book but one of the narrators was very hard to understand the rest of the narrators were good though I recommend this book.

MCB
A wonderful book. Thank you to all the readers. A few volunteers have strong accents (to an American ear) but all were understandable.
Good Wives

Vintage Girl
Great story! Excellent readers with one exception. It is easier to understand the dialect of readers whose primary language is English.
