Critiques

A good yarn

(5 stars)

A good story line with enough twists and turns to keep up interest. Just what we have come to expect from Freeman Wills Croft

(4 stars)

This story dragged a bit which is unfortunate because I like Inspector French. The ending is rather dramatic and surprising. Good reader.

Great twists and turns, calmly and well-read, a great book for bedtime or just relaxing and using your imagination.

A peaceful mystery

Well read. Thanks.

Pretty poor stuff

Even at the end, the so-called detective has failed to arrive at the correct solution of the mystery. The reading was so slow I had to use the 'speeder-upper' option in my reader to make the reading tolerable.
