Grace did a fantastic job of reading! Overly drawn out plot (especially last half of this book), with more logistics than we really needed. For the yacht chase portion, the author missed many opportunities to develop a simultaneous plot, and instead of experiencing it first hand, it was relayed to us later.

This Henty book was unusual, and that the main character is already an adult. This was actually quite a nice change and an engaging story.

Henty is a brilliant writer, and his books are a great way to get a taste of times past. Well narrated too - thank you. Just a note of caution that the book contains some racist language and attitudes accepted at the time of writing.
