The General Mills Radio Adventure Theater was an anthology radio drama series that aired on the CBS Radio Network in 1977. Hosted by Tom Bosley, this series was added to Himan Brown's workload and was typically broadcast twice a week on weekends, starting in February 1977 and continuing through January 1978.
This series represents one of the few nationwide attempts in the U.S. during the 1970s to air such an anthology drama series, apart from religious programming. A lot of times I want to watch an old movie or show, but I can't devote my eyes to a screen for any length of time. I am SO glad I discovered old time radio, and especially these "not SO old... " time radio shows as well. I vaguely, very vaguely - recall radio programs during the era these were aired, it may have been these very programs- I don't recall, but they do have a very comfortable, interesting, and "home-y" quality about them. Thank you for sharing. Very good audio too, I would like to add!
