Dangerous Assignment features film actor Brian Donlevy as Steve Mitchell, an international operative tasked with navigating dangerous situations. Donlevy's voice and delivery lend a sense of plausibility to the show, even as it explores routine Cold War scenarios.

Bruce Ashley, composer! Brilliant!

I find that the outstanding part of these Dangerous Assignment episodes is the music interludes by Bruce Ashley. Such inspiring orchestral writing with an awareness of how to voice the brass, woodwinds and strings! And the cream of the crop of Hollywood studio musicians to perform. Could that be Vince DeRosa on Horn? Too bad that formulaic writing doesn’t match the music-it makes the episodes interchangeable.

There are a few episodes just before # 92 where there is something wrong with the audio. Can you check them please? I could not make it out. Maybe the bass and treble there needs some work. Otherwise a great series. I really enjoyed these stories with Dunlevy. Thanks.

Thank you Lum for posting these programs of Steve Mitchell; two fisted agent. I love the TV show but these radio shows are almost better because I can listen to them while I'm working. Thanks again- keep up the good work!
