Parsley Sidings   :  Situation Comedy Radio comedy series written by Jim Eldridge , set in a sleepy railway station somewhere in England. Starring Arthur Lowe , Ian Lavender , Kenneth Connor and Liz Frazer . From 1973. These are the three lost episodes -- which is to say, these episodes of Series 2 were for many years thought to be lost. No known recordings remained after the BBC had wiped its tapes, even among the collections of those diehard old-radio fans who had saved many of the others. The three recordings on this page are the very latest finds. As you'd expect, these are off-air recordings made by fans of the show. As there are still, even today, few known sources for these particular three, you'll normally find them in poor audio quality. But not here! The recordings included on this page are the best quality I've come across anywhere for these particular episodes. They are still not in broadcast quality, but you won't currently hear them in better quality anywhere else!
