Philco Radio Time

English · Radio, Music, Humor

Philco Radio Time is a variety program hosted by Walter O’Keefe, combining music and comedy in a polished radio entertainment format. O’Keefe’s role as master of ceremonies gives the show a conversational center as it moves among its different performers and segments.

The program’s appeal lies in the variety: listeners can expect a mix of musical performances and light entertainment rather than a single continuing story. O’Keefe guides the proceedings, introducing the acts and helping the transitions feel lively and easygoing.

With its blend of music, humor, and host-led presentation, Philco Radio Time offers a snapshot of the variety-show style of network radio. It suits listeners who enjoy classic broadcast entertainment built around a personable emcee and a changing program of performances.
