Evered

4.2

In rural Maine, Evered rules his farm and his household with an iron fist. His son, John and his wife's sister, Ruth try to accept this reality, but Ruth has only recently entered the clan and grows to resent Evered. Action grows tense as John tries to act as intermediary, until a stranger, Fred Darrin sets up camp nearby and unwittingly finds himself embroiled in the disputes. Elements of loyalty, forgiveness, acceptance and courage are woven throughout this tale of Evered and what he is all about. - Summary by Roger Melin
