Mountain Justice

English · Radio

Texaco Star Theater is a variety program built around comedy and musical entertainment. Its radio format brings together spoken performances and music, offering a mix of lighthearted material rather than a single continuous drama.

The episode is identified as “Mountain Justice.” The title suggests a story or comic situation, but the program’s broader appeal lies in the variety-show experience: a change of pace between performance styles and the lively presence of performers working in front of a radio audience.

For listeners interested in early radio entertainment, the show offers a snapshot of a popular variety format, where comedy and music share the spotlight. Its blend of spoken and musical performance makes it a different kind of listening experience from a conventional dramatic serial.
