Critiques

seventeen year old boy falls for ridiculous girl

(4 stars)

This reminds me of my sons at that age. it was interesting to look at things through the eyes of this young fellow. I enjoyed the characters and the reading was very well done. The annoying girl who had the boys heads in a whirl ... what can I say. She had these young boys experiencing their first crushes. Who can account for young love? The depth of the feelings and blindness to her obvious flaws... well that can happen. I enjoyed it.

Funny Ha Ha

Jonathon Burchard has a unique talent for bringing out the humor in Booth Tarkington's books. He's recorded several, but this one is the best, and especially funny to anyone who has ever had teenaged children.

Wanted to give 5 stars but for some reason it won't let me. Thank you! Great job reading! Tarkington is always a lot of fun!

The reader is hilarious when he makes his voice high pitched for a female character.
