Leído por Ray Clare
In this insightful essay, G. K. Chesterton explores the complex life and legacy of Lord Kitchener, a figure whose military prowess and political influence shaped the course of British history. Chesterton delves into Kitchener's duality as both a formidable adversary and an unexpected ally to the very people he was often at odds with. Through a blend of biography and historical analysis, the author presents a portrait of a man whose actions were driven by a deep sense of duty and a complicated understanding of the world around him.
This work not only sheds light on Kitchener's military strategies but also invites readers to reflect on broader themes of loyalty, conflict, and the intricate web of human relationships in times of war. Chesterton's sharp wit and keen observations make this essay a thought-provoking exploration of a pivotal figure in history.

Reseñas
Nice little book
Horatio Drake
Winston Churchill's books often mention Kitchener. This is a nice summary of his life. Very good narration by the reader. Sections 3 and 4 DO play without any problems, contrary to another viewer's complaint.
Mary Campbell
Sections 3 and 4 don't play.
