Critiques

Bad narration

(1 stars)

I wanted to listen to this but the first person narrating is Elli and I cannot understand a word she says. This is one thing about Librivox that just really is frustrating. I appreciate the good intentions of these volunteers but maybe they could direct their energies in another direction other than narration.

I wanted to hear this book SO MUCH! It was, of course, impossible because the first 4 chapters were totally incomprehensible. Elli needs to read in her own native language, which is obviously NOT English. This completely ruined the book for me.

I couldn’t understand anything that Eli read! It was horrible. I skipped her and listened to the rest of the story and enjoyed it. I am sorry that I couldn’t enjoy the first few chapters.

unlistenable

I am unable to understand the first four chapters because of the heavy accent of the reader. Also, the voice of the last reader is incredibly grating. Please re-do this book with different readers.
