The content is fabulous, providing historical insight and interpretation to canonical biblical texts from a first century perspective. The commentary provided by Josephus on common biblical events is a must read for all Bible enthusiasts. The recordings are a bit spotty in quality due to the variety of voluntary voices. However, because the audio book is free of charge, this varied degree of quality is less significant in overall consideration.

Audio books are a life saver for people like me Though I am busy I can always listen. I used to own a hard copy and could never get the time to read it. I lost it and never got the chance.
