Another fine book by Haggard. On to the next adventure. By the way, the reader did a great job, especially the way she changes her voice.

Enthralling!

(5 stars)

An incredibly enthralling adventure, masterfully read by an extremely talented narrator! Her vivid depictions of the numerous terrifying and exciting events, combined with her absolute gift for capturing the spirit of each and every character through her artful versatility of accents and intonation, made this one of the most of the most spellbinding tales of adventures I have ever heard. Bravo!

Very, very enjoyable!

The story is interesting and the reader is a great actress! So much fun listening to the various characters' voices. Some of the violence and the verbal harshness of the main character did surprise me. It makes me realize how times have changed.

A fun adventure for sure made even better by the narrator. She is a pleasure to hear. Many books I have had to stop because I couldn't stand the dull, monotonous, droning of the person defiling what was written.

Fun story

Even though it's a typical, somewhat predictable HR Haggard story; it was a lot of fun to listen to. The reader did an excellent job! Very enjoyable, and well done.
