Ecellent Presentation. As it goes life in the pack can be repetetive at Times Certainly a bit tedious sometimes that book. But then suddenly one wakes up again at an exciting event. one cannot help but getting hungry listening to all these delicious food getting served. A miracle in itself the didn't extinct the whole polar bear population...;-) I need a steak now...thank you!

Great reading, great story, although it does get repetitive in places. Overall very engaging, but perhaps not as fast moving and well written as for example Roald Amundsen's writing.

Unexpectedly wonderful. A true story of exploration, survival, endurance, and fortitude without the artificial drama of Hollywood. Was the perfect book to bring with me on long backpacking trips in the wilderness when I could sympathize with their hardships and they could encourage me in mine.
great narrator, thank you

As usual not an indigenous dude on the team? A hot air balloon over the north pole? Safe bet that thing is still up there!
