I had never studied hermetic philosophy before listening to this book. This book opened up a whole new can of worms for me. I enjoyed every bit of it and had many eureka moments as I listened. This is my favorite book on librivox.

While the text does not reveal the 2 keys to the temple it does open the path to understand the process of mental alchemy. The laws are presented in a way as to enlighten the reader to alchemical operations and the hermetic doctrines. Love this version.
All-Time Favorite Book!!

This is THE book that makes me wish I could add an extra star. I’ve been studying various philosophies, religions, and thought school theories for the last 25 years, and this is the one that ties it all together for me. The concepts are very clearly and concisely delivered, and the message resonated deeply with me. It is suspected that this book was written by William Walker Atkinson, and having studied several of his other works, that makes perfect sense. If you enjoyed this piece, you should consider checking out his other books. Game changers!
Ready it !

This book is full of very good knowledge to be learn. Need to be read by chapters one by one and think on what was read. Same dont happen if we listen. They are seven principles that need to be meditated about and the conclusions of this principles are the great knowledge that can be learned if understanding. once you know them and understand them, life can become a different place and the understand of the world and situations become clear. Is like ifs and buts stop to exist and all become black and white... read it !
Well read, and suprsiingly interesting

I enjoyed this book a great deal, despite not believing in Hermetecism. It was interesting to see the thoughts of this group interpreted in such an overt way, and to therefore be allowed to consider them in depth. Algy does a great job in this: its perhaps my favourite recording of his, excepting one or two of his Shakespearean roles.
Well read by Algy.

The narrator did an excellent job in bringing the written text to life and made it engaging. With the narrators help the information in the book became a revelation. My advice to other listeners is to tune out the grainy audio quality and focus on the the information being presented. It's worth it.
excellent!
