This book was very good. It was easy to understand and follow. If you want to know the old Greek stores this is the book for you.

The readers are good but... THEY PUT IN THE ROMAN NAMES FOR THE GODS NOT THE GREEK NAMES! 😤 It is mildly triggering.

First of all: The readers did a great job! The book itself on the other hand did make me cringe quite a bit. Despite the title, Mr. Baldwin seems unable to grasp the difference between Roman and Greek and keeps messing with the characters (especially in regard to their names). The stories in this book are turned into very stretched fairytale versions of the original myths and remind me more of a Hollywood movie than actual mythology. That is a shame, as the original stories certainly don't lack any entertainment in the first place. Alternatively I recommend: 'Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome' by E. M. Berens (https://librivox.app/book/2264)

As I understand it, most of the names used are Roman not Greek but still pretty good book and readers are excellent

This is ROMAN not Greek. No stars for this book, it kills me the way they say it's Greek when it's Roman.
