Great job gals! I have not heard all but the first one, A Tempered Wind really moved me to tears. My grandmother use to tell me how in the 1930's that this sort of thing occurred, taking in a street child. In today's age of insane endless lawmaking why the husband and wife who took the street child in would be "guilty until proven innocent"(Orwellian)of child abuse. My grand ma ma also told me that in her neighborhood drifters, the homeless during the depression were always given food, clothing and even on occasion lodging for free. And more often at least given shelter in a back shed. I am dumbfounded that Georgia Wood Pangborn does not have a wikipedia page although her husband does dahszil male usa
