Interesting mystery, but didn't like the ending

(3.5 stars)

I really enjoyed the earlier mystery parts of this story, but the ending included such bleak and hopeless occurrences and outcomes that made me like the story less. Listen, I DON'T need a happy ending, but the whole idea of what was going on in the story was distressing, and the ending was a bit over the top for my taste. Carolin did a good job reading the story. For the good mystery of the meaning of the bronze hand and for Carolyn's reading, I will ignore that the ending was not to my taste. (You can't please everyone all of the time!)

AKG is one of my favorites...

I usually love AKG stories; she writes a mean mystery novel. This one has a bit of a sad ending, and I would have loved a bit more resolution with it, but it is still a good mystery. I'd give the story a 4. The reader did an excellent job, and the recordings were excellent - 5 star reader.

Good story & mystery & greatly narrated by Carolin. I really enjoy most all of AKG works but this is not one of them. Its a nice mystery I just didn't care for it's ending.

AKG didn't do it for me this time.

Just couldn't get into this one of AKG's mysteries as I have most of hers in the past. 4 stars for great job by reader. Thanks enjoy!

Not up to the usual Green standards. Plot is OK, ending somewhat abrupt. More espionage than mystery. However, mildly entertaining . Good narrator.

Well read short for AKG - interesting plot well developed. With good character builds and emotionally appealing. Thanks!

A captivating thriller, some might not like the end but personally I thought it was befitting the story.
