The Calico Cat (version 2)
Charles Miner Thompson
Leído por Mark F. Smith
The consequences of letting your irritation get the better of you are humorously portrayed in this story of a self-important man who fires a shotgun at an annoying cat on his fence.. and hits a man skulking in the bushes. What did the cat do to enrage him? Why was the man in the bushes? And how can the whole matter be covered up and done away with before the neighbors start gossiping? (Summary by Mark F. Smith) (2 hr 30 min)

The guy shoots the cat and misses, hitting another guy, who sues another guy who punishes his son for shooting the first guy... oh what a tangle! Mark does an excellent job as always with his recordings and voices. Thanks!

Amusing and witty story

I enjoy Mark Smiths reading, he has an excellent style of acting the characters, and unlike most professional audio book readers, without annoying mannerisms or overacting. However, I could not help but imagine Jar-Jar Binks when he was acting the man who got shot! The story is very amusing and well worth the time. Recommended!
