William Butler Yeats was an Irish poet and one of the foremost figures of 20th century literature. He studied poetry in his youth and from an early age was fascinated by both Irish legends and the occult. One of his works, 'The wind among the reeds', published in 1899, by critics' opinion is the main achievement of his early works. Imagery of Yeats' poetry at this time is filled with characters of Celtic mythology and folklore. (ShiNeko, Wikipedia) (1 hr 31 min)

Reseñas

generally good readings

(3 stars)

The quality of readings for this collection of Yeats's poetry ranges from acceptable to downright lovely. A good chunk of the readings are bland and forgettable. It's nice to hear some English and even Irish accents in the mix. One woman actually sings a couple of the "songs" in this collection, which was a startlingly pleasant surprise. It's a generally well-read selection of poetry.
