this magazine really did publish some great work. I skip the Readers Corner though, shame as I do like the reader.... on to the next volume!

It is interesting to see a slice of the past

Were women really so utterly useless in 1930? If they weren't screaming, fainting, or breathlessly declaring their love for the hero there really was no place for them. I'd never have made it in that time period.
