Lovely story!

(5 stars)

What a lovely and unexpected story. Our hero meets a lovely lady and her father in a restaurant. He is completely smitten, but is reluctant to approach them. Imagine his surprise when the father, Mr Parker, sits at his table one evening, hands him a package, and proceeds to eat his chicken dinner! Apparently there is much more to this Mr Parker than meets the eye. The reader was EXCELLENT, I enjoyed this story very much. Thank you!

Perfect Title!

(5 stars)

This was a delicious tale of a mischievous & terrifically clever thief- wannabe. I enjoyed every moment of the story, even when I thought the J.H. Parker was the genuine article! The LibriVox Volunteer, Cate Barratt is a brilliant narrator.

NEEDED TO BE TWICE AS LONG

(5 stars)

No one has ever met a man like Bundercombe. The author should have added reenty more chapters of his exploits. The reader was excellent, as she always is.

Original & entertaining

Beautifully read. This is a charming, amusing & original story. Some scenes are as funny as any by Oscar Wilde. I really enjoyed the kindness underlying everything.

I enjoyed it.
